It is a well-known issue that F20C goes into the retard mode (a.k.a. Safe mode) when the IAT goes above 40 degrees Celsius - meaning the engine power is limited up to 175 bhp - down from 250 bhp.
Because the IAT sensor is directly mounted on the intake manifold (AP1 only), IAT is measured higher than the actual intake air temp. When we compared intake air temp. between AP1 and AP1.5/AP2, there was a significant difference in the two systems.
By using this extension harness, an additional IAT sensor can be installed on the air box.

This kit includes an extention harness, 1 x CSOhara insulation gasket kit, and 1 x stock IAT sensor (37880PCX003).
